Today's project, I am pairing up the new Turtley Awesome stamp set and Chameleon markers:

I stamped the two turtles and the sentiment onto a white cardstock. The turtles are colored in with a variety of Chameleon markers. I added the three hearts at the top to fill in some of the white space. A circle die cut is used to cut out the turtles and sentiment.

The stitched circle die cut is attached to a couple prints. The panel is attached to the kraft cardbase.

Let's Hang Out

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! It is Jessi here, today. Last week, I mentioned that Neat & Tangled is one of my favorite stamp companies. So I decided to break out some of their stamps and make a fun card for today's post. Please stop by the Neat & Tangled section in the MarkerPOP store.

I am working with the Better Together stamp set:

I used the no-line technique on this card. To start, I stamped the image in a light colored ink. I used a variety of Zig Clean Color Brush Markers to color in the image. To make sure the colors do not run into each other, I painted different areas and let them dry completely. Once the image is dried, I run over the outlines with a the matching color.

I used a green to color in the grass. Once that was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment to finish the scene. The panel is attached to a few different prints to layer the card.

Please stop by the MarkerPOP blog to see the supplies used on today's card.

Don't forget to comment for your chance to win a $10 MarkerPOP gift card. The more posts you comment on, the higher chances to win!

Joy Clair Embossing with Dino Love

Hello, Joy Clair friends! This month the design team will be working with the embossing technique. Today I am working with the super cute Dino Love! This stamp set is perfect for making Valentine Day cards for the special people in your life, especially the young ones!

I usually like to lay out my plan for the project I am working with. I am a visual person and like to make sure something will work before I just drive in! Sometimes this process is quick, while other times it can take me several hours to finalize a design that I am happy with.

Once I figure out the adjustments that need to be made, it is time to get started with the embossing! I am going to be embossing with white powder, so stamp the images in white ink as well. I stamped and embossed in different stages to cover the card.

Here is what card looks like once the embossing is completed:

The red frame is attached to the center of the card. The dinos are stamped and embossed in white. The images are cut out and attached using foam dots.

This was such a fun card to create. I love the texture and shimmer that embossing adds to cards and other projects. If you have not given it a try, you need to!! The possibilities with embossing are endless.

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! Did you see that a new challenge has started over on the MarkerPOP blog? I hope you stop by and find out the details of the challenge. Below is the inspiration photo for the challenge:

I paired up a few different companies to create this card:

I started with the background by blending a few distress inks to create the scenery.  I used a few browns and yellows to create the ground and a few different blues to do the sky. The stars are cut out using a star dies. I also used a scalloped rectangle die to create the panel.

The cactus stamp was inked with two different shades of green. The images are stamped and cut out. The cacti are attached to the scenery panel.  The sentiment is done with white ink and embossing powder. The sentiment is cut out of cardstock.

For the butterfly, I only put tape down the center of the back. I attached the butterfly to the card and bent the winged up for some dimension to the card. The sentiment is stamped and embossed in white on a black strip of cardstock. The sentiment is tucked underneath the edge of the butterfly.

Joy Clair Treasure Bible Page

Hello, Joy Clair friends! It is my day on the Joy Clair blog! Are you enjoying the newest Joy Clair stamps? I am! So many possibilities from the different sets!

Today, I am sharing one of my latest Bible pages using the Color by Faith's Treasures stamp set:

I used a variety of distress inks to turn the Bible page into a treasure map. The stamps are done in brown ink and colored in with colored pencils. I also used the Bible Planner stamp set to stamp the verse next to the X.

It is hard to photograph, but I added embossing powder to the jewel on the page. Once I hit it with the heat gun, the jewels now have a pretty shimmer to them.

Thank you for stopping by! Hope you have a great day!

Joy Clair is releasing some amazing new stamp sets today!

JOY CLAIR JANUARY RELEASE BLOG HOP

The design team has been working hard with some new creations to show the new sets off! You should be arriving from Lindsay's blog! If you are stopping by my blog and would like to start at the beginning, please stop by the Joy Clair blog.

Joy Clair’s January release contains four stamp sets, two everyday sets and two sets from their bible journaling line, Color by Faith!
All the stamps from this release will be on sale starting today.

Today I am showing off the new Color by Faith's Joyful Noise:

With the guitar image being so big, I thought it would be fun to paper piece the image into the Bible. I stamped the image onto a pretty print and cut the image out. I cut out a green printed paper and attached to the margin of the Bible. On top of the green paper, I added a pink strip. The guitar image is then attached to the page. I stamped the verses from the Joyful Noise set at the top of the page.  Paper piecing makes for a quick and simple page and I don't have to test my coloring skills!!!

All You Need is Love

Hello, MarkerPOP friends! It feels great to get back to posting. I enjoyed the little break, but ready to get back! With New Year's behind us, the next big holiday is Valentine's. Lots of gorgeous Valentine's projects are being released! Make sure to check in to see all the new products arriving in the MarkerPOP store!

Today, I am working with a super adorable Memory Box stamp set, Love Grows. This set is perfect for Valentine's projects and even gardening projects.

To start of this card, I stamped a variety of images from the Love Grows set randomly on the card front. I started with the larger images and worked my way to the smaller stamps to fill in the white spaces.

I stamped a few images onto a separate white sheet. The images are colored in with a variety of Chameleon markers. The images are cut out and attached individual onto the sentiment strip of cardstock.

This is such a simple card to recreate! I love how the colored images really pop against the black and white background!
